With a decade of experience as a registered nurse, including five meaningful years in hospice care, I’ve had the honor and privilege of walking alongside individuals and their families during life’s final chapter. My time in hospice taught me that end-of-life care is about much more than medical support. It is about presence, compassion, and truly honoring each person’s unique journey.
Throughout my work, I often noticed a need for more continuous and personalized care. Many people benefit from deeper conversations, quiet companionship, and steady guidance that often extend beyond what traditional systems can provide. This realization led me to pursue my path as a Death Doula, a role that allows me to offer holistic support before, during, and after death.
My personal healing journey led me to Reiki, a practice that resonated deeply within me. Witnessing its calming and restorative effects. Reiki can help sooth overall pain and end-of-life symptoms, easing anxiety, and fostering spiritual peace. Integrating Reiki into my practice enriches the support I provide, addressing not just physical symptoms but also the emotional and spiritual well-being of those I serve.
Through this holistic approach, I aim to honor the sacredness of the dying process, ensuring that each individual feels seen, heard, and comforted as they transition out of this world.
