With over a decade of experience as a registered nurse, including more than five years dedicated to hospice nursing, I have had the profound honor of supporting individuals and their families throughout life’s final chapter. This path has not only deepened my clinical expertise but has also brought me spiritual clarity and a steadfast belief that energy never dies.
In my hospice work, I often encountered systemic challenges that hindered the depth of education and guidance that patients and their families needed during the dying process. These gaps inspired me to become a Death Doula, allowing me to offer the continuous, compassionate presence and personalized support that the traditional medical model sometimes lacks.
My personal healing journey led me to Reiki, a practice that resonated deeply within me. Witnessing its calming and restorative effects on patients- reducing their overall pain and end-of-life symptoms, easing anxiety, and fostering spiritual peace- affirmed its value in end-of-life care. Integrating Reiki into my practice enriches the support I provide, addressing not just physical symptoms but also the emotional and spiritual well-being of those I serve.
Through this holistic approach, I aim to honor the sacredness of the dying process, ensuring that each individual feels seen, heard, and comforted as they transition out of this world.
